RULES OF POSTING

Chinwags is a forum specifically aimed at pet-lovers, a place to share news, seek and offer support and generally share our enthusiasm for chins. Whilst there is always room for friendly discussion and difference of opinion, please remember to treat your Chinwags friends with respect and be non-judgemental at all times. Basically, “be nice”, and think carefully about how you post so as not to in any way offend .

Name-calling, inappropriate language, vulgarity or unpleasantness of any kind towards fellow members is not permitted. Any posts found to be in breach of this rule may be edited/removed and the poster informed.

Only one account is permitted per member – any additional accounts will be deleted.

Personal grievances between members should remain between the parties concerned. Chinwags will not involve itself in personal disputes, so please keep them away from the forum, using the private message / e-mail facility instead (private messages cannot be accessed by admin or moderators, so you can be assured of your complete privacy in this respect)

Please do not use the private message system to spread malicious gossip or unfounded rumours about fellow members – anyone found to be abusing the pm system in this way is not welcome at Chinwags.

Inflammatory topics, such as politics, are not permitted

Double posts are not allowed, so choose ONE section carefully for each post made.

This message board was created first and foremost for pet owners, and as such we made the decision very early on not to have a classified section.
There may be exceptional circumstances where advertising is appropriate, we would however ask that you contact a moderator to check before making such a post. No explanations will be given for refusal of posts

Please observe copyright law at all times, and if using quotes, credit the originator, and seek permission to post images belonging to anyone other than yourself.

Persistent rule-breaking may result in a ban, at the discretion of the team (Any warnings will be logged)
